Monochrom

I was going to write an in-depth review of my new camera, the Leica Q2 Monochrom, but who would care? Most people come here to see photos, am I right? Not boring stats about incredible low-light performance, eye-wateringly sharp optics, and exquisite German build quality? I find reviews by people who already bought the camera pointless anyway.
So, here are some photos I took with the camera I bought specifically because it performs incredibly in low light, has a great lens, and feels nice when I stroke it. Oh, and it only records in black and white; it has no colour sensor whatsoever. The reasons and technical nuances for a mono-only sensor are almost unexplainable, so I won’t bother; if you know, you know.

  1. I would like to read a review. Because I will never be able to afford one I live vicariously through others who are lucky enough to have the means. Envious? Me? Noooooo !! 🙂

  2. Again, world class shit.

By closely examining the pictures it’s clear you are using a Leica Q2 Monochrom. I can really see that it has incredible low-light performance and eye-wateringly sharp optics. I can imagine it will have exquisite German build quality.

    1. You’re going to have to talk me through Substack when I see you – it looks great, but I just don’t get it.
